Vitamin C in fresh coconut also offers regenerative properties stimulating collagen production in skin cells.
Another benefit of vitamin C in homemade skin care and coconut face masks is that it improves circulation which helps healing by increasing blood flow around your skin leaving you with a healthier glowing complexion.
One of the reasons coconuts and their oil been prized for centuries in hotter climates is for their natural sun protection factor (approximately SPF 4 to 6) and is also popular in modern tanning lotions and sunscreens for its protective and moisturizing properties.
Coconut oil for acne:

This along with its ability to soothe and heal wounds and inflammation makes it a perfect base ingredient for homemade acne masks, serums, and cleansers. It is also excellent as a gentle base for children’s diaper rash or cuts and and grazes.
